The Annual General meeting of Birr Golf Club will take place on Wednesday 4th December at 7:30pm. All full members are invited to attend.

A new hamper competition begin today 2nd December 2024. The 9 Hole Stableford turkey competition is ongoing this coming week.

 

Sign in on computer, play off white tee markers. Entry fee for each competition €4, re-entry €4. A member can play in both competitions (hamper and turkey) at the same time but must sign into each competition and submit separate scorecards.

 

Reminder: The Club AGM takes place this Wednesday, 4th December starting at 7.30 pm.

- Glenn Eagles - final competition before Christmas takes place Thursday 6th December, draw at 12:30pm in the bar. All ladies welcome. Please check conditions in the book.

 

Wednesday (Ladies Day) Draw Times: Draw at 9:50 for 10am tee off and 12:50 for 1pm tee off. Arrange and play after 2pm only if playing in a ladies competition.

 

Upcoming Events:

- Ladies Christmas Party Sunday - 15th December. One day 9 Hole Turkey competition 1-2pm, draw for partners takes place Saturday 14th, names to be in by Friday 13th. 2 Course meal at 4pm approx, followed by presentation of all outstanding prizes. Please add your name to the lists in the locker room for golf and meal.

 

- Winter League commences 26th December, same format as last year, 9 hole rounds with re-entry option. List for names on noticeboard in locker room, please have your name up by Saturday 14th as draw will take place Party Sunday.

 

We invite all our ladies to take part in Party Sunday and the Winter League and we encourage our new ladies especially to join us.
