Birr Golf Club Development Classic

On Saturday 30th July, Sunday 31st July and Monday 1st August we are holding our Seventh Annual Development Classic. Our main sponsor is Michael Kennedy of Kennedy Motors, Birr and the burgers are sponsored by David Corbett of Cullinane Butchers, Birr.

Since the completion of our development in 2009 our new course has been much appreciated by club members and visitors alike and we look forward to maintaining and improving the course where possible in the coming year.

On behalf of the management committee, we thank you in advance and hope you can support the classic over the bank holiday weekend. In the financial times we find ourselves in, it is imperative that all members get behind this fundraising venture and give your heartiest support. It is an opportunity to invite relations and friends from other clubs to play our beautiful course. This in turn will multiply numbers playing and therefore, benefit all.

Cost per team for this year’s classic is €120 which includes burgers and refreshments on the 11th Tee. Full catering is also available in our Glenn’s Restaurant all day. The cost to sponsor a hole or tee is €50, should you wish to advertise your business / company over the three days. The timesheets are posted in the Clubhouse for the three days and if you wish to sponsor / advertise please contact the Club. We thank you for your continued loyalty and support
