New Social Membership

The new Single Social Membership will cost €360, with Husband and Wife Social Membership costing €660. GUI/ILGU levies are separate. All details are available from Joan in the office. Phone is 057 912 0082. 

The organising committee is extremely pleased with the very satisfactory response to the Social Membership offer and many new and former members have joined. It is good to see that our Booking Online System is also working well and the Sunday morning timesheet is proof that it is popular with members.

Ladies golf

The 9 Hole and 14 Hole competitions are still running. 

The next 3 rounds are up and running in The Winter League. Best of luck to all the teams.

Well done to all the volunteers who are doing great work on our course. Remember all help welcome. 

The ladies are running their annual Bridge Drive on Sunday next 5th February in the clubhouse at 3.30pm. So spread the word to all Bridge players. 

The Captains / Presidents Drive-In will take place on Sun.19th Feb . Four Ball Scramble shotgun start at 12 noon. Entries will be taken at bar up until 11.15.

Birr Golf Club are holding an OPEN DAY for JUNIOR GOLFERS  on Sun. 12th  Feb. from 2 pm until 4.30 pm. Members who have young children or grandchildren interested in golf are all very

welcome to come along. Free fun day guaranteed .

 

Sympathy

The members offer deepest sympathy to John Maher and his family on the death of his father Michael in Carrig last week.  Also to Peadar Nugent and his family on the death of his sister Maureen Ramgoolam in London last week
