Ladies golf

Congratulations to our Lady Captain Margaret who hosted her prize to the ladies with family, friends and club members.
A great two days’ golf was had by all and it was rounded off by a wonderful evening with dinner and presentation of prizes sponsored by Ann Bermingham, Tullamore, Chiropodist. We had a great variety of entertainment starting with soprano Yvonne O’Toole and the appearance of Michael Jackson got everyone in the mood for a great nights dancing. The winner of the much coveted prize was Bernadette Mc Tague. Bernadette held her nerve and returned a 70 nett after having a 74 nett the first day. Well done Bernadette. Congratulations also to all those who won prizes on the day. The nine-hole was won by Roma Gilmartin and second was Mona Collins. It was great to see Mona back playing and dancing the night away.
The nine-hole Men’s Competition was won by Pat Doyle with 23 pts and second was Aiden Farrelly with 21 pts.
Thanks to the bookies Seamie and Eddie who handed Lady Captain the takings from the day. The course was in truly magnificent condition and we had a beautiful meal enjoyed by all.
