Sympathy
The members extend deepest sympathy to Eddie Nevin and his family on the death of his brother Tony in Birr last week. Tony, a long standing member of the Club won three Captains’ Prizes over his career. His first was Tim Kenny’s in 1988, his second win was in 1994 when he won Michael Grogan’s in a play-off with Padraig |Larkin. His third was in 1995 when he won Frank Kenny’s prize. Tony represented the Club in many Inter Club competitions where his brilliance around the greens led to many victories. Ni bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
