Pop-Up Bookshop
The finance committee will be holding a Pop-Up Book Sale in October in aid of club finances. The committee will be grateful for books of any description and content. We are assured that the Censorship Act has been put in abeyance for the occasion, so there is no need to worry.
Books should be handed in to Francie or Joan over the next few weeks.

On Wednesday 7 October Birr was again delighted to host the ever popular Glenns Trophy Final. This year saw 30 teams participating and with the course being in excellent condition and weather being most favourable, a very pleasant day was enjoyed by all. Lady Captain Pauline Needham is delighted to announce that a donation will be to the Palliative Care Room in Birr Community Nursing Unit. She also would like to thank all who contributed in any way to make the event such a success. Many thanks to Peter Fox, who kindly sponsored the competition. The results were as follows:
