AGMs
Two AGMs take place this week. On Thursday the Men’s takes place at 8 pm, while on Friday we have the Ladies also at 8 pm. We welcome incoming Captains Seamas Breen and Vera Smith with Presidents Sean Moylan and Mary Grennan. We wish them every success during 2012 and hope that they will have a very enjoyable and productive year.
The AGM of the Club will be held on Sunday 27 Nov at 4 pm. Members should note that notices of motion should be posted on or before Sunday 19 Nov.

Ladies’ golf
Captain’s Drive Out.
Last Sunday, 13 November, the Captain’s and President’s Drive Out took place with a huge turnout of members coming out to support our Captains and Presidents to thank them for their leadership for the past year. The 4-Ball Scramble with a shotgun start was a huge success. This event replaced the annual Captain’s Dinner and Captains Joe and Rita came up with this new venture to get more members play a fun scramble and enjoy reception and refreshments after golf. Congratulations to all involved in making the day a successful one and a nice end to the year for Joe, Rita, Tony and Gemma as they ease out of their respective roles and a huge thank you to all members for turning out in such big numbers on the day.
